Here We Go.

This is going to seem a little old. It all took place on September the Fourth.

I recently (as in three months ago) graduated from a low to mid level college with a degree in history, a field I have no intention (as of right now) of entering.

I own my own house, don't ask me how. It used to belong to my (maternal) grandparents, but now it is mine. I grew up here, now I grow down here.

I don't have to work, so I don't. It took a few months, but recently, through many sources, it has been made apparent to me that this is not acceptable behavior. This is not an acceptable path to be on.

I started running every day. I used to run cross-country (XC) in high school. We had a coach who was about 25 at the time, and had been a navy seal. When I run now, I remember those times very vividly, right down to our coach riding next to me on a bike yelling at me to go faster. If I ever had any breath for a response, I would be shouted at for having the energy to talk. I remember those times vividly because most of my running is done in the same location now as it was in high school. I run three, six, sometimes eight miles a day. I do it to feel active, and because it feels awesome when I am done.

I love film. I like to write about the personal affects a film has had on me, along with what happened to me personally while, when, and where I was watching it. That is the idea behind this recovery, to have an outlet for my various ideas concerning certain films.

Hopefully, running, green tea, and watching films will help cure the stress that seems to haunt me, even when I have nothing hanging over my head, really. Perhaps it's from that nothing that this comes from? I hesitate to use the word "stress", as my working friends take offense, with good reason, to that usage. Can't please everybody. But this is my cross to bear, I'd switch places if I could, if nothing else than for the change in perspective. Since I can't, I'm just going to see how this works out.
